so, mama got her new boobs today. she had to be at the hospital at 5:30 this morning. ouch. her surgery wasn't scheduled until 8:30 but a nurse called last night and told her that they needed her in earlier than they had orginially planned.
anyway, daddy called me around 11 or so and told me that she was in recovery and the doctor said that the surgery went fine. they removed the shunt that was in her underarm area and the temporary air implants that they put in last january when she had the mastectomy and they installed brand new perky implants.
she's probably going to have to spend the night at the hospital and she should be home no later than tomorrow afternoon. she'll be bound up for a few days and she goes back to the doc next tuesday. and i'm sure she'll be in a lot of pain. but this is the end. they said they wouldn't put in the implants until she was 100% completely healed from the mastectomy and the chemo and the radiation. so she is and they did.
the dogs are upset at being home all day all by themselves so i'm going to do some lovin' and treat givin'. toodles ~
